Book Launching Ceremony

Department of Women and Gender Studies arranged a book launching ceremony for two new books, ‘Discourse Analysis as a Tool for Understanding Gender Identity, Representation and Equality and Revealing Gender Inequalities’ and ‘Perceptions in South Asian Countries through Discourse Analysis’ at the Professor Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium. Professor Dr. Nasreen Ahmad, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University was present as the chief guest and Dr. Sadeka Halim, president Centre for Advanced Research in Social Sciences and Professor, department of Sociology presided the program. Ms. Jakia Hasan, president of Women for women and Dr. Fahmida Khatun, Executive Director of Center for Policy Dialogue were also present as special guests.
