Celebrating Women’s Day 2017- Be Bold for change

On Women’s day 2017 a rally was organized by the Department of Women and Gender Studies which started from 'Oporajeyo Bangla' of Dhaka University campus and ended up at Nabab Nawab Ali Senate Bhaban. After the rally a cultural program was inaugurated by welcome note by Dr. Sayed Saikh Imtiaz, chair, Department of Women and Gender Studies. The program was highlighted with the stories of renowned women’s struggle and the theme of this year was Be Bold for Change. Students performed cultural activities to uphold women’s rights.
