Short Bio: He has been working in the field of Networking and IT since 2008. In his professional career he has worked for Link3 Technologies Limited, Samden Tech Pvt Limited (Bhutan), Optimax communication ltd and BdHUB Limited. He completed professional exam such as CCNA and CCNP switching and also attended Security Workshop in SANOG XXIII in Thimphu, Bhutan, APNIC 42 (Colombo, Sri Lanka) and APNIC 44 Conferences (Taichung, Taiwan). He visited Kent State University and The Ohio state university, USA as a part of his BdREN Overseas Internship 2016.
Education: Completed BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Dhaka City College, National University) and Masters in Information Technologies (IIT, Dhaka University)
Position: Network Engineer, ICT Cell
Responsibility : Managing System and Network
Short Bio: As a prowess System & Network professional, Md Mahedi Hasan has 12+ years working experience at different renowned organizations in the ICT sector. Currently, he is working as a Network Engineer, ICT Cell in University of Dhaka and previously he has worked as a Sr. System Engineer (Data Center) for 8 years in BdREN. Being involved in core developments and operations, he has implemented lots of useful tools and services for BdREN infrastructure. He has introduced the Educational Roaming Service (eduroam) in Bangladesh and working to implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) for education community. He has Master’s degree in Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University and Bachelor’s degree in CSE from BUBT. He is also a freelance trainer for Linux System Administration and conducts national as well as international training and workshop as a trainer. He has got internship from OARnet, USA and NORDUnet, Sweden and participated in many training and workshop programs in home and abroad including New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Nepal.
Designation: Senior Network Operation Officer
Responsibility : Configuring and troubleshooting DU web and application server, maintaining and updating DNS server. Managing and troubleshooting Virtual server (VMware Exsi-6). Configuring and troubleshooting router, switch and ensure internet at user end. Responsible for IPTSP ( IP Phone service ).
Short Bio: Tanvir Ahmed Tuhin Sarkar has completed his B.Sc. in computer Science & engineering from Dhaka International University and masters in Information Technology at University of Dhaka. He has obtained good familiarity with a variety of IP, Data Networking system. He has 14 years of full experience in the ISP networking department, Configuration and maintain Linux based server, configure and troubleshoot different types of routers and switch. 7 Years working experience with Optimax communication ltd. (One of the renowned internet service provider in Bangladesh) as a Manager, System Admin. He is certified CCNA and CCNAS security and Red hat certified Engineer (RHCE) and Red hat certified system administrator (RHCSA).
Position:Electric Technician
Responsibility : Electrical wiring, Generator Maintenance, Troubleshooting problems for Internet and IP phone user, Installation of structured LAN cabling.
Short Bio: He has been working in the field of computer hardware and maintenance since 2004. He has worked for Promiti Computer & Network (Pvt.) Ltd. and Institute of Information Technology, University of Dhaka before joining ICT Cell. He has vast expertise in Electrical wiring and structured LAN cabling.
Education: Completed S.S.C & H.S.C in Arts from Open University and now a part-time undergraduate student of Islamic Studies at The University of Comilla.
Name: Pradip Das
Designation: Senior Assistant
Responsibility: Configuring networking devices, troubleshooting problems for Internet and IP phone users, maintenance and operation of Virtual Classroom, CCTV installation & maintenance
Short Bio: He has been working in the field of networking since September 01, 2010. Before joining ICT Cell he has worked for Spark System Limited, Maisha Net Limited and Tomato web (Pvt.) Limited. He has four years experience as a support engineer in different Internet Service Provider (ISP) companies.
Education: Completed B.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering from Northern University Bangladesh and M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Dhaka International University.
Name: Md. Faruk Hossain
Designation: Data Entry Operator
Responsibility: Although he is recruited as a data entry operator, his knowledge and expertise as an optical fiber technician has earned him a place in ICT Cell’s network team. His responsibilities include optical fiber splicing, optical fiber cable installation, operating OTDR machine and troubleshooting problems for Internet and IP phone user.
Short Bio: He has been working in the field of optical fiber link Installation and troubleshooting since 2008. He has worked for companies like JF Optical Fiber Limited, Abir Enterprise and Ideal Trade link. He has experience in working underground and overhead optical fiber backbone installation project within Rajshahi University, Jagannath University, Begum Rokeya University, Dhaka Cantonment, Chittagong Cantonment and Bangladesh Railway.
Education: Completed S.S.C and H.S.C in Arts from Rajshahi Board
Name: Swapan Hossain
Designation: Network Technician
Responsibility: Structured LAN cabling, optical fiber cable installation, troubleshooting problems for Internet & IP phone user and maintenance of Virtual Classrooms.
Short Bio: He has worked for Dhaka Fiber Net Limited as a Network Technician from September 2011 to May December 2014. From 2015 he has worked for ( on Ad Hoc basic) Network Operation Section, Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor Office of DU. On May 2018 he has joined ICT Cell.
Education: Completed S.S.C from Nilkhet High School and H.S.C from University Laboratory School and College.
Name: Mohammad Habibur Rahman
Designation: Hardware Technician
Responsibility: Troubleshooting computer hardware & software problems, configuring networking devices, CCTV installation & maintenance and troubleshooting problems for Internet & IP phone users.
Short Bio: He has been working in the field of Computer hardware maintenance and networking since June 2007. He has worked for organization like Algae Computers and Institute of Information technology, DU. He has vast experience in troubleshooting both hardware and software related problems in PCs, Laptops, and network equipments.
Education: He has completed Degree course from National University and one year Diploma in Computer Hardware & Network from Binary Information Technology (BIT).
Name: Md. Shapon Khandker
Designation: Hardware Technician
Responsibility: Troubleshooting problem of online & offline UPS, CCTV installation & maintenance and solving problems for Internet & IP phone users.
Short Bio: He has worked for Shamim Machineries and Electronics House as Head Technician from January 2010 to August 2019. Since September 2019 he has been working for ICT Cell. Since his early teens he has been making uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), instant power supplies (IPS) as a hobby. He is also an expert in repairing electrical and electronics devices.
Education: He has completed B.S.S Hon’s and M.S.S in Sociology
Name: Md. Julhas Miah
Designation: Hardware Technician
Responsibility: Troubleshooting computer hardware & software problems, Configuring networking devices, CCTV installation & maintenance and Troubleshooting problems for Internet & IP phone users.
Short Bio: He has worked for United Computer Center as an IT Executive from March 2013 to June 2016. He has also worked for ASA Bangladesh as an Assistant Support Engineer at Dewangonj Branch, Jamalpur from June 2016 to August 2019. Since September 2019, he has been working at ICT Cell. He has expertise in troubleshooting computer hardware & software problems.
Education: He has completed S.S.C in Arts from Bangladesh Open University and Diploma in Engineering in Computer Technologies. He also completed professional courses such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Name: Ashraful Islam
Designation: Network technician

Short Bio: He has four years working experience as a networking technician. He has worked for Netcom Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. He has expertise in structured cabling design and installation.

Short Bio: He has twelve years working experience as a networking technician in Netcom Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. He has expertise in structured LAN cabling layout design and installation.

Responsibility : Electrical wiring, Optical fiber cable installation and Structured Cabling. Short Bio: He has worked for Institute of Information Technology, DU from January 1997 to March 2015. He has been working at ICT Cell, DU since April 2016. He has expertise in Electrical wiring and optical fiber cable installation.
