IBA-DU becomes the first ever Asian team to reach the finals of the most prestigious HWS Round Robin debate competition 2020

Sajid Khandaker and Sourodip Paul of team IBA-DU participated in the HWS Round Robin 2020, organized by Hobart and William Smith (HWS) College in Geneva, New York, after being ranked the 11th best team in the world in the World Championship last year. HWS Robin is considered as one of the most competitive and elite debating events in the world. Team IBA-DU became the 2nd best team in the tournament, and became the first ever Asian team to make it to the finals of the competition alongside Harvard University, Yale University and University of Cambridge. Sajid and Sourodip were announced the 2^nd and 7^th best speakers respectively at the tournament.
