Research Interests
Being a Geologist and Exploration Geophysicists I am keenly interested a multi-disciplinary research agenda that focuses on the following fields:
[1] 2D and 3D seismic survey line design.
[2] Field quality control of 2D and 3D seismic data.
[3] Seismic Data processing and interpretation.
[4] HSE monitoring of seismic operation.
[5] Seismic drilling management.
[6] Resistivity sounding and profiling.
[7] Petroleum Reservoir characterization.
[8] Petroleum reservoir stimulation, EOR, interaction of drilling fluids with reservoir rock, reservoir heterogeneity and reserve growth potential - recovery factor optimization in petroleum reservoirs.
[9] Detail Geological and Geomorphological mapping .
[10] Sedimentology and tectonics.
Project experience funding acquisition:
[1] Associate investigator, Project titled: Causes, Distribution and Environmental Impact Assessment of Gas Seepage in Titas Gas Field, Brahmanbaria , Bangladesh. Project funded by Ministry of science and technology, Bangladesh government. Starts in June 2015.
[2] Field QC Incharge : 3D seismic survey over Rashidpur, Kailash Tila, Sylhet, Titas, Bakhrabad & Saldanadi structures of Bangladesh. (2010-2013)
