Research Interests

Being a Geologist and Geospatial analyst I pursue a multi-disciplinary research agenda that focuses on the following fields:

[1] Detail Geological and Geomorphological mapping and its significance in Quaternary paleo-environments and neotectonics.

[2] Spatio-temporal Remote Sensing for land surface change and its future prediction.

[3] GIS terrain analysis and River dynamics.

[4] Geo Hazard analysis with the help of RS and GIS.

[5] Hazard Mapping i.e., Landslide, Flood etc using Statistical Approach and Multi-criteria evaluation techniques like Fuzzy logic, Heuristic, AHP methods.

[6] Integrated approach to unveil the coastal resilience along Ganges delta for climate change adaptation.

[7] Watershed Characterization using Geospatial Techniques.

[8] Hyperspectral, Microwave and LiDAR data processing and their application in geosciences.
